Techdude's AMAZING tips & resources for beginning web designers

Techdude sez: This list of tips and resources is for those who want to learn to create better web pages. I have attempted to put all the tools and resources here that would be needed to begin.

Note: There are links to some terrific tips and resources on this page. However, while searching the web I realised that there was no resource that offered a real step-by step process for beginners. Namely, not only the how but also the why of good, simple design. I have endeavoured to address this need by beginning to write a tutorial, which focuses specifically on Claris Home Page 3.0. The basic principals described there apply in a general way to all WYSIWYG web page design programs. Those who wish to try this work in progress may proceed to Techdude's Claris Home Page Tutorial
